Best Comic Issue Ever: Spider-man versus Wolverine
Best use of “suicide by spider”.
Quick Plot:
- Peter Parker on vacation in Germany
- Wolverine in Germany visiting old female spy buddy who says her cohort is getting wiped, she’s ready to go, and she wants Logan to do it
- Somehow Peter gets tingly nearby and stops Wolverine from delivering the death blow
- A cemetery-based battle ensues, Spidey eventually knocks out Wolverine
- As Spider-man is standing there over Wolverine, heart racing, adrenaline pumping, spy lady walks up and tap taps him on the shoulder
- In a moment of pure instinct, Spidey whirls around and clocks her in the forehead and kills her. Suicide by spider.
- Wolverine wakes with two pieces of counsel. 1. She knew exactly what she was doing and 2. Get over it.
